This blog is in response to the "How to Thrive During Your Field Experiences" linked on KKallas's blog~
- The easiest tip offered in the article for me would be the point about being active and on your feet. I love to move and have fun, so trying to get the kids involved and learning won't be a problem for me. I love to ask people questions and how they got what they got, so trying to do the same to little kids will not be a challenge for me. I really like to talk and figure out people, so doing that in a classroom setting with kids will be a joy.
- The most challenging one for me would be take every day as a job interview. I get nervous about some things because I don't want to mess anything up, so constantly thinking that the field site is like a job interview will be a little scary for me.
- I think I will struggle with being nervous this year. I don't want to say anything wrong in front of the kids or mess anything up. But I can say I am really anxious this year just for the experience itself. I very excited to meet my kids and gain and grow relationships with them and my teacher. I hope to grow to be the coolest teacher ever! :) Like this:
